Registered Massage Therapy
Therapeutic massage is used to treat a wide variety of ailments, such as headaches, chronic muscle tension, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, knee pain, low back pain, whiplash and more. We use specific postural and orthopedic testing to pinpoint the cause of your pain. Both chronic and acute pain syndromes can be treated using techniques like myofascial release, trigger point release, muscle energy technique, deep tissue, Swedish massage and more.
Treatment length can be based around the time you have available or the areas you would like to be treated.
Thai Yoga Massage and Breathwork Mentorship
Our mentorship program spans six weeks, with sessions held every Wednesday for five hours each day. This immersive, hands-on program is designed to provide you with personalized guidance and in-depth learning. Once you complete the initial six-week program, you can continue your growth by joining future sessions on a drop-in basis, ensuring ongoing mentorship and a supportive community.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
1. Assisted Stretching: Traditional method from India and Thailand for major joints and connective tissue lines, also called Sen Lines.
2. Stretching Approaches: Thai massage is traditionally performed on the mat. Table stretches are then applied from floor experience.
3. Full-Body Stretches: Extensive stretches targeting upper and lower body areas,
4. Stretching Styles: We combine passive and dynamic stretches, acupressure, and yoga-like postures to improve flexibility, release tension, and enhance overall well-being.
5. Connective Tissue System: Understanding the Traditional Fascial Sen lines, and engaging with the body's connective tissue network, originated in India and Thailand.
6. Body Sensitivity: Techniques to feel and interpret body signals for effective treatment.
7. Nervous System Fundamentals: Key knowledge to enhance client care.
8. Breathwork Techniques: Traditional Pranayama to promote relaxation and support healing.
9. Creating Healing Spaces: How to provide an optimal healing environment for clients.
10. Take-Home Manual: Receive a detailed manual for your reference, ensuring you have ongoing support and guidance.
